Turbo Props

Turbo-Props are equipped with two jet engines powering propellers. Therefore, the reliability of these planes is no less than that of jet planes. The chief advantage of these planes is their lower operating costs and their ability to take off from and land on short runways (such as in Haifa Airport or some of the airports on Greek islands). These planes fly lower and slower than jet aircraft. In these planes, passengers cannot stand throughout the flight, but must remain sitting. Some of these aircraft have in-flight service.
